There is a spreadsheet in Canada Spousal Sponsorship on Facebook, a very thorough one. I suggested we start a WhatsApp group and even posted my number in case anyone else is up to. I am already in a WhatsApp group from the applicants from June (we had submitted in June, but got app returned) and I have learned a lot from their colaborations and input.

I prefer to keep my personal Facebook and cell phone number separate, but thank you for the information. For others that have the same preference, I will create a spreadsheet for this November 2018 thread.

We did not have a traditional wedding either, neither of us is that ceremonious at all, so we did send our photos of our wedding, which by the way, we totally forgot to have someone do it.... Luckily, his mom and his sister in law did snap a few photos!

We eloped and then had a small ceremony and reception at our home 2 days later... I only submitted photos of our ceremony as we had no photos taken at the elopement.

It’s on your Temporary Resident Visa~ 8 numbers long. You are assigned one number from CIC for all immigration matters.

If you have previously applied for a TRV or any other (student visa for example), then you have an UCI. I have mine from my first visa application as a tourist. If you don't have an UCI, then you can try with your receipt number.

Try your first; last name and your country of origin it might work. There are other options apart from UCI number to link your application, play around with it.

I have applied for My wife's PR and work permit. She is on visitor visa. But how long it takes to get work permit? cic web has processing time for 6 weeks. But this for online application. Inland PR and work-permit application for spouse is paper base.

From what I have seen on the FB posts, October applicants got theirs in two months. Have you linked your OWP yet?

CIC is working on October 7 applications (online) and September 4 applications (paper) at the moment. Some of October applicants have already received their permit in the mail already. Hopefully we will get ours before mid Jan.
