I just recieved quest for additional prove my common-law relationship.

I have already send my child birth certificate, deriving lances showing same address and other goverment letters showing we live on the same address. My question is what else can i use as prove since we dont have any benefit such as insurances under our names.

Please help!

Hey Everyone from Quebec, I am still waiting for medical request, did you guys already receive it? I got sponser approval and invitation for pre-approval services. But AIP and medical request is still not requested.... My application was received on Nov 2.

Anything that can show that you two shared expenses like utilities, purchases, grocery receipts maybe...
letters from friends and family( if you haven't submitted any) stating that they know both of you are living as common law since ....

I would go over the list of supporting documents and see what you did not provide enough of it.
- Letters from family and friends (Including letters from daycare supervisor, school and coworkers)
- Rental Agreement and amendment.
- Insurance (Auto, Home, pet and any other)
- Credit Cards that you can get a 2nd card for spouse.
- Add your spouse as "contact" to phone bills, gym, internet, cable tv and other utilities (Costco Membership counts)
- Print your account statements e-transfers from and to each other (highlight the transfers, indicating you shared expenses)
- Birthday cards, receipts from gifts (can be card card, debit cards and so on)
- Quality over quantity!!!

Is dere any out of status November applicant that has received AIP? Just curious to know if the same timeline works for those of us that were out of status b4 applying. Congrats to all those that have recieved the good news.

-Billings statement receipts from online orders that shows your address are the same.
-Letters from relatives, friends or neighbors who knows your cohabitation.
-Any membership cards that has same address
-credit cards statements even if it’s e-statements that shows the same address
And if you can’t provide the joint account and life insurance or any on the list that IRCC is asking you, make a letter of statement on why you cannot provide those documents.

God bless on your application.

I agree with the posters. I would also make it clear with 12 months of cohabitation (I want to say I saw this on the checklist but could be wrong). If you're doing billing statements for example, I would send them 12 consecutive months prior to the submission of your application (e.g. phone bills from October 1 2017 - September 2018 + your most recent statement).

No that doesn't matter for AIP, AIP is reviewing whether the relationship is genuine or not, in AIP letter they say you still have to pass medicals and background checks etc if you haven't already... he/she won't receive DM until he/she gets his medicals done or he/she might be lucky and get DM before getting medicals done/passed -it happens sometimes
I saw a September* applicant @Longroadtoimmigration got AIP and DM and wasn't even requested for medicals (says no medicals upfront too)
You are right. I never got medical request . And I have AIP AND DM. Landing soon too. So yes it's possible.
