So I’ve been “oath ready” since early September. They have had 4 local ceremonies & I’m still waiting. Since you are past the 12 month mark, you can call the IRCC number & ask them to send an internal message to your local office asking them to please expedite your file. May or may not help. I have had no luck at all getting the web form to actually be sent to the local office.

When you say you had no luck with the web form what does that mean? Did they never reply back to you? Did you try calling IRCC number? Any luck with that. Are you also past 12 month mark?

I am past the 12 month mark....I have called the number. On the web form, I requested specifically that it be forwarded to the local office, but the reply was a standard (generic) answer of you are “oath ready” and will be invited at a future time.

What is IRCC number that I can call at? My application is handled in the Mississauga office.

I would suggest you to write a handwritten letter with your acknowledgement copy remind that 12 months passed, rather calls or web form.
It will reach the senior official one who take decisions if you write " URGENT - CITIZENSHIP GRANT - UCI#" in big letters on top of the envelope. And then you call them after 6 working days to check/inquire if they received and any update regarding your letter. Dont forget to post your envelope by UPS or FEDEX rather than Canada Post ( slowest delivery i even seen). I am talking about it from my experience since my application reached 11 months, i got invitation for test in 2 weeks.
Address : "3085 Glen Erin Dr, Mississauga ON L5L1J3"

Did you send it to Local office or IRCC Sydney office?

I think it could have been a coincidence in your case as well because Mississauga office averages 11-13 months.

Local office, No more relationship with Sydney once you received your AOR

You might right, and you can't say exactly 11-13 months, friend of mine 2 of them received their Passport in 5 months and other one in 8 months. My case they accepted as URGENT (You can see my timeline) and they changed to normal processing time. Some they takes more than 15 months, its their fate.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will give that a try after the new year. I sent a letter directly to the local office, but I’m not sure if it helped (or even was read). I’ve been waiting for an invitation since early September....at this point, even if they sent an invitation now, that would put it over 14 months. It is disappointing to see others completed in 7-10 months.....but not a whole lot that can be done I suppose:(
Happy Holidays!!

Just received the invite for the oath ceremony on January14 ,2020.
