Anybody who applied as family, did you take the minor with you for interview on test day? Are they required? In cic website they say in some cases they are required. Can anyone clarify?

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 9, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 21, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on January 29, 2019.

And still like this! I just wanted y'all to know that I'm not ignoring this, it's just I haven;t heard anything yet... I wonder if I should worry or if this is normal

We sent you a notice on September 13, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on October 4, 2019 at 1:30 PM

They did not check anything for my son at the test. The officer said if they needed to verify any of his documents, they would do it just before the oath ceremony.

Its very normal if you have your file in Mississauga office. They received my application on Nov 8 2018 and its in process since Jan 28 2019. currently they are inviting Sep 2018 applicants for tests.

My wife and son came with me, but there wasn’t enough room in the waiting room (Charlottetown office is very small), so they waited nearby.

I emailed to check on my November 2018 application. Have not received a test invite... It is surprising as I thought my file would be at Mississauga office but they informed me it is at the Scarborough office.

Does anyone else see any test invites going out from Scarborough these days?
