Friend,i know many people already submitted extra papers,one of them sent cover letter explaining them something about application,another submitted paper to explain them about trips,third about another thing,lol,i don't know why it will delay if i provide them an official paper clarifying them i did not leave Canada for whole 3 years,they should thank me that i am not lying here not punish me ,LOL

You are right! I myself submitted a letter and as far as I know my application is right on track. So I’m with you on this. Explaining in advance won’t delay anything.

you give an officer idea about your trips for example/job/traveling so much to same country ,it is better than asking you clarification about this point,so you clarify him/her in advance ,i don't say everyone should submit such this paper,every case is different

I don't know about the relationship between extra paper and processing times but what I think -I mean this is common sense- we need to explain something when there is a discontinuity, lag or a complex situation to clarify in advance. In your case as far as I understood you have one job, one employer and it is government!!, one sin no (with complete tax returns I assume) etc. what was your motivation for extra paper?

when something is very solid like your case, don't you think extra paper may create a bit of confusion? it is very unlikely but if I were your case officer I would like to dig a little bit. a little bit. not much

Thank God i have straight forward travel history just couple of trips. My worry is i am self employed and work from home and part time student as well so no idea if this has any bearing on cirizenship application

Once you get AOR, their criteria is to asses whether you have adequate knowledge of Canada and one of the two official languages, that's it, unless there is any discrepancy in your application. They are not concerned with your employment status. So far as your trips are concerned, they have to determine 1095 days as set out.
That is to say now you have to pass the test and interview to be qualified for oath ceremony.

Dear ,i said in this form before about checking SS, do you know that even more than a half August applicants did not receive Test letter yet?so so you want from them to jump to November applicants skipping many September applicants/whole October??Lol,we have at least 2-3 months to start receiving this letter,by the way they mentioned in AOR that it could takes few months ,believe me guys ,the waiting game just started and you will wait a long time to get this letter,then we have to wait again to get letter for ceremony ,as i said before the process takes 10 months but again all the time there are exceptional cases ,lol

October guys have started to receive test letter; therefore, November guys whose ECAS shows "in process" will start it next month.

My application submitted on Nov5, 2018 was returned because of missing info . I resubmitted on Feb 2 ...
Any one know my application processing is delayed three months or they open it right away and considered November application.

I appreciate all the replies.
