Well
I have seen many getting ppr just a day after the file goes to ip2
My aor is 4th Nov. When I called the agent on 30th April , she said eligibility met .. .. She also said that security and criminality might have started but not updated .... .
And today my file moved to ip2 ......
Should I hope for some good news in the coming week?

There is nothing a IP2. Just because your have your background check status change, does not mean that your eligibility is met and the security has started.

After the eligibility is met, by an officer, the security will start, and only after the security is completed, the PPR is issued after a final review.

Did you pay your RPRF upfront?

The eligibility takes place in 2 stages.

First, an analyst or an assistant will review and make a recommendation.

Second, an officer will review the recommendation and make a final determination.

If your eligibility was passed by an officer in December, then by now your eligibility should be passed and security at the verge of completion or completed.

Wait for a 1-2 weeks, and see if you receive the PPR.

If not, then you should enquire through GCMS or calling IRCC.
