I am extremely disheartened watching the applications being processed for others and not for me.
My AOR is 6th Nov, met eligibility and passed criminality in Jan 2019, passed medical in Dec 2018 and security has not been started yet. Don't know what is taking them so long to start it. What are they doing with my application for last 4 months? I am standing on the verge to complete 7 months in a week. Files for other November applicants from my agent has got the Passport request except me.
I wonder when will they start the security and when it will get finish and how many months do I have to wait more?
I have called CIC thrice, everytime they come up with an excuse that they are over burdened with the applications, we have back-logs etc. I don't know how do they expect me react on this. Applaud them?

I am Nov 6th AOR too, still waiting. Hang in there, its not in our hands anyway so move on with your life and let it run in the background. Sooner or later we all will hear the news, good or bad.

28th Nov, same status.
Last update on MEP and Rep form back in Jan 1st week. Still shows reviewing additional docs.
Called them 2 days back, said file is not picked up yet, so everything is pending.
Asked to contact only if there no update until July last week.
Call them up. Order GCMS notes.
I applied for my notes on 29th April thorough CIC, still did not receive.

Hi,
I think your case processing is completed and hence waiting for the final approval from case officer. Regarding updation it is usual. You will receive your golden e-mail this week or next. Be positive.
According to current trend FSW - Indians with Ottawa visa office gets their PPR in 150-160 days and with NDVO gets PPR in 180-200 days. Hope u will get it soon

My AOR was 28th Nov, I am at my 182 day today.
You still have your eligibility and criminality passed. I have nothing.
Whenever I call they tell me my file is not picked up and just medical passed, rest all pending.
They also told me to only contact them in Nov end, if there is no update from them.
So do not worry. You are still at a better position with only security left
I know a girl who got ppr yesterday (after 10 months)
Her AOR was 28th July 2018, and only her security was left when she last contacted them after 8 months.
And guess what, she has no travel history outside India.
So, I guess I am now prepared to wait for 10 months. Thankfully I listened to my husbands advice and did not put my paper down, so I still have my job to kill time.
My husband is already in Canada in work permit, and we can only meet now once I move there.

Completed 182 days now, and they tell me file is not picked yet..and when I ask why, the agent told me probably the officers are enjoying summer in Ottawa!!!!!!

R10 is also ok since 20/12/2018. Med passed on 06/12/2018

Criminality and security not started. What i fail to understand is if everything was ok since 20/12/2018. Why criminality and security has not started after that. Why is it taking them long. It has been 208 days and still in ip1.
Is it safe to assume that ppr is on way even if it takes long? Or are there any hidden things which is not seen through naked eyes.

HI,
Calculated according to the immitracker, there may be few exceptions. It is just based on people who received their PPRs in last 6 months.
I think in your case the officer may not have updated your profile thats why the agent who spoke to you couldn't find the actual status. The profile will be updated tomorrow and next week you may get PPR or even tomorrow. I hope this may happen for you.
