How long till the PPR at this point?

EDIT: We did not received any email about background check being started. Are there any cases of them not doing background check?

Anyone in the USA have their application forwarded to LA visa Office after going to Mississauga? Just wondering and waiting. Unable to link application because we have representative so we only have online tool it says We started processing on May 11, 2018 and medical results have been received.

Lets just be patient and pray for fast processing of our application. Its been a month now since they emailed us a Pre-arrival letter. I hope we will receivean email from them sooon.

Yippee! Its official. Final Decision Made today. COPR on its way in the mail! Now its time to plan our exit from Ireland to Canada. November 16, 2017 Application was received. 6 months plus a day!! Way swifter than expected and totally delighted!

Received PPR yesterday and status changed to Decision Made Just under 6 months - super pleased with the turnaround time, was as quick as I could have hoped for!!

Hi All

Just a quick question... my partner and I have gotten engaged since my COPR and we've decided to get married in NZ before we leave for Canada (nothing like throwing 2 huge life changing events into the space of a month!) but I can't see anyway of contacting CIC to let them know the change of martial status. Does anyone have a phone number or email address that I can use to contact CIC?
