SANAGHADA,
I passed the test 8 months ago and still in process. It is out of our hand for now and we only can wait.

Cheers

Application was received Nov 30, 2017, still NO NEWS about my test or anything at all. I'm starting to wonder if they've lost my documents. No one answers my questions. I feel like I'm the only one from Nov 2017 who hasn't even been invited to the test.

Definitely not the only one. There are earlier Nov and October applicants without test invitation (they can be found in other threads).

I've contacted them by web form, and they only said my documents were in Mississauga. Then I wrote to the Mississauga office, their PO box and their actual address, and they only returned my mail, saying they're only responsible for sponsorship.

Any idea why it would take so much longer than many others?
I've just requested GCMS anyway...

It took 14 months for my background check to be completed (including FP request on th 1-year anniversary). Prohibition took a couple of weeks. Everything is now showing in notes as PASSED (confirmed by call agents) --> 2nd notification has been sent by said agents to the local office. Still no test invite :)

Mine was received on 24 Nov 2017. And it is Vancouver office (They told me my background check is not complete yet and there is no timeline for when it would be done).

GCMS would shed some light on the process of your application. They respond with a generic email to Webform inquiry. GCMS would take 30 days. Did you order the $5 option? It is more thorough.

Did you send a webform or you contacted Vancouver office directly?

Both and called the call center. I think the best way to communicate was emailing the Vancouver office. They emailed back within 3 days and you don't need to try 10 times calling and waiting 45 mins to someone pick up the phone.

Is the admins still updating the excel sheet? I suggest they use different color code or for users who are still waiting and active in the forum so we can get a better understanding how many applications are not done yet.

Yes, I ordered the $5 one. At least it should shed some light on what's going on. Honestly, I've heard many horror stories about documents getting lost or misplaced I don't think waiting for too long is a great idea. Also, every time they call, the agent says they have no information.

Did you reply to your test invite email or Vancouver office has a different email address?
