The folks who did their oath. I am having my Oath this Friday and would like to confirm what document you need to carry with you to the oath ceremony. From the top of my head I believe the following should be carried:
  • All passports (current and expired) with translation of any stamps not in English or French;
  • Landing Form;
  • PR Card
  • The oath ceremony invite (letter sent by IRCC inviting for the oath)
Is there anything else I am missing here?
No need to bring stamp translation to the Oath.

So did you finally gave up on rural Saskatchewan and decided to move to Calgary :D:D
Nope. I'm still very much here in SK. IRCC is sending my file out-of-province because there's going to be (announced on their website last week) a regional itinerant service next door in Alberta in September which is just a couple of hours' drive away from me down here, rather than the five hour drives that I'd have had to have done to get to either Saskatoon or Regina (my only in-province options). So I'll be a Saskatchewanite taking the Albertan citizenship test, hehe.

That's good. I guess you have been trying to transfer your file for a while. Glad they finally did it.

I initially requested the transfer by WebForm & also by physical/couriered letter back in late January, just after I got my AOR and before I reached IP.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Btw, you put "Test interview" on your list, does it mean there will be an interview as well?

or just test?
Yes test along with interview happens on the same day. Please ensure you take all your passports and certificates.

So what's the interview about?

anything challenging?

is it a must for an interview?
Verification of some documents; to understand if the would be citizen could converse in any of the official languages in Canada, verification of residency.

Nothing challenging; truth prevails.

It’s a requirement.

Good luck and wish you happy days ahead.

They don’t test the level of alcohol in the blood or voices in our head. So it’s cool!
