Hello,

Any one knows what does background check completed when you call the CIC, does that mean getting a test date might be soon? thanks

Yes after the background check is completed, the next step is the Test.
After I did my FPs, I called CIC to make sure they received it. The agent told me that although they have received the FP report from RCMP, the background check is still on going and after it is completed, the next step is that i'll be getting a test date. So just hang in there..... nothing to expect during the long weekend...... All the best!!!

CIC started processing my application Dec 30th 2017- still no updates for 6 months.

Could you please delete users who have not updated their status? I believe the timelines are being severely skewed due to there being no follow up from their end. There are some users with AOR as far back as December 8, 2017 and nothing from them, since.

Anyone has news from Montreal for Oath invitations . I had decision made since the beginning of May still no invite and my test was April 18 . Cant wait anymore .

I've got my test and interview this morning. Passed the test with 20/20 in 5 min and followed by a short interview where the officer only asked for my PR card and test invitation letter. This was at the Calgary office.
All together the test started at 10:00 AM and I was out 15 min later with the interview done.
Officer said to me to expect the oath letter in the next 3 months.
Please update my tracker info.
