We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 9, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 29, 2017.
We started processing your application on January 26, 2018.
We sent you a notice on April 25, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 17, 2018 at 8:50 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

where is your test center (Mississauga/ Hamilton/ Scarbrough)?

Me too, I passed my test in Edmonton but my online status did not change to DM YET.

Update (more details in the Vancouver thread):

I got an email from the Vancouver-itinerant office offering 8 dates in either Vancouver or Surrey. Or wait till the Fall for Vancouver island dates.

If confirmed and if I pass the test/interview, I will have both test and oath on June 15th.

In process since early Feb.


EDIT: June 15th date confirmed by CIC through email, will receive the official invite 3-4 weeks prior to event

Montreal is processing extremely slow. Seems they haven't done anything since 15th of March. Anybody knows why ?

I have a friend with a family who applied at the end of October and they became CITIZENS on March 8th for a grand total of 139 days. I am 91 days now "in process," so yeah seems slow to me. I think they selected a certain number of files and are working through those to completion before starting the second set. It seems if you didn't make that first group it is going to be a while. I don't know anything particular, just watching the spreadsheets.

So I called up CIC regarding my test in Hamilton even though I live in downtown Toronto. They said the Toronto office is swamped and applications are being off loaded to other centers where the load is not that heavy. I am fine with that!

Hi, i feel that most of the candidates receive Finger Print requests.
It is gonna be amazing if it is added to the spread sheet.
From my limited experience, I think it takes about 1-2 months to receive test invitations after finger print requests.
Does anyone have any idea about processing times after FP?

Mother IP since Feb 6.
Me and daughter IP since Feb 10. I got FP on March 13. D
IRcC vancouver recived it on March 14.
STILL no test invite.
