Have not posted in a while.
I got my Test date pushed to 15 March 2018 due to travels in January.
Passed the test today.
Waiting for DM and Oath.

I Just noticed that my family name is not correct on the test invite letter , everything else like file number is correct.
Do I need to contact CIC? or its fine
None of these situations apply to my friend ans she's got FP request.
Honestly, her name is unique - I won't say it here, because she's not on this forum - there's no mismatch, no name changes, no criminal records in Canada or anywhere else.
So, to me, it's random. It also makes sense they request a FP for the situations you listed.

Hi. Why is ecas asking me to change my address? I’m living in the same address as my application. I tried to log out and then log in but it still ask me to change address, I couldnt proceed to view my application.
Make sure you use the right URL -- https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas
(Some people who use google were pointed at a slightly different URL, one that leads to the change of address page instead.)
I was using the address that is on my bookmark - which happens to be the same as this one - and out of a sudden yesterday, it kept asking for my address to be updated and when i logged in on using my partner's info, it was all normal.
Today i was able to log in normally.
My ECAS still shows in process , February 15th .. it has been a month now..
Your reason not valid , must ur son go to the tour? people more genuine reason to apply for urgent and don’t get it wrong they might call u for an oath around SeptemberID name: tikya

God is good! Remember guys I was the one who asked if I can call CIC to file this urgent because of my son's school tour in Europe but my reason is not valid. I am really praying hard to get this citizenship done. Just sharing. We are so happy
Hi , I believe you are the right person who can answer my query
I have same situation , I am expecting test invite any day (as my eCAS showing IP from 14th of Feb), I will not be in Canada for 4 weeks,
I informed to CIC by filing web form.
Hope they will consider my request and will not set any date during that time frame (during my vacation period)
Is this same you did or you called them and informed? Please suggest Thanks
If I was you , definitely I will call to CIC and try to find out why it is so
or order GCMS note please
In my case during PR application my DOB date was incorrect in one of GCMS which I ordered , I sent a detail email explaining them about error in DOB and with my DOB proof , when i ordered next GCMS , i found it is corrected and in note section caseworker expained about my DOB correction details
