I couldn't find anything on validity on web and that what makes me think that there is no validity for online payments. It is like you have already paid from your credit card and payment received by CIC and it is there in CIC bank account, so there is no expiry to it. They need applicants to provide receipts so that they can verify the transaction details and link the transaction id with the applicant file/ UCI number and In case of any refund, they just send back the money to the card used.

Why are you engaging this troll? If you can google, so can he. If you can call CIC, so can he. If there are no ready answers available, one should not expect others to do their bitch work. Guessing from your avatar, you seem from India, remember not so long ago, he guy/gal was all gaga over Indians, and not in a good way. The best way to kill a troll is not to feed it.

Hello,

What happen to November's spread sheet? I used to be line 150 yayita and I can't find my time line anymore.

I have chosen English, cause my English is much better. Maybe because I submitted the test for French, but I also submitted academic Ielts high score. I know it has to be general Ielts, but I submitted anyway.
The whole link is in French and attached letter.Even the link for Discover Canada is in French. I hope my test will be in English.

That's the reason. The agents go by the book. They do not assign points (in case of PR app) if AC version of IELTS is submitted instead of GC. So in this case, just a guess, if you submitted TEFaQ, which is a valid testing system, the agent must have assumed your choice of language as a mistake and put in French. But do not worry, the agents are bilingual plus there is no point system as was the case during PR process. So to the point you demonstrate workable knowledge in French and good competency in English or vise versa, during your friendly oral interview conducted while document check, you will be more than ok.

I am active . no AOR yet. Not too concern yet because life goes on with PR and have all necessary visas and no plan to book plane ticket on oath day. Only concern, how long my payment would be valid ? Asked this question many times but no one here knows or choosing not to answer because I am not going to act like a slave of some of the so called seniors here.

Here comes the troll again. In majority of the cultures and societies, no response is a sign of ignoring. Don't you get no one likes you, your comments, your questions, your vibes and so on............. People here still answer you/ not throwing you out as they are nice and helpful by nature. Never mind, you won't get it. Looking forward to more trolling, sometimes engaging and seeing a troll making a fool out of himself is fun, so carry on and cheerios.

Hi guys I am in process now, please update location to Mississauga

Hi,
A different issue if someone could please provide valuable information.

My PR card expires next week. My citizenship is now in process stage.

What should I be doing? I understand I can't travel without a PR card but do I need to apply for a renewal now?

yes, because you never know when you will need to travel and when you will get Canadian passport.

It takes 3 months for PR card renewal it says. Still apply?

Hey guys, can anyone share how they received test invite, I mean by email or regular mail? Was their status updated online to show test date information?

My husband applied last year and he received only AOR by email, all the rest correspondence were by mail. is it same now?

I don't know which stage your citizenship application has reached.
But to me I would apply for PR card renew unless I know the application has reached a stage that its progress is predictable.

here is some certain time gap I knew, which means I would apply for PR card renew if I haven't get my test invitation.

ceremony to Passport: 1 month
Citizenship Test&Interview to ceremony: 1 month
Test Invitation to Test: usually 1 month

As stated by other members, I would. One of my friends gave his test last week and the oath taking is not until 2 months as he was told by a friendly agent as they have to finalize something on the back end plus availability of dates. From thereon one goes to apply for a valid travel passport. So, apply just in case. Processing times are touching 69 days, if things figure out before that, then cancel the application or the priority should be to cover the base in the event of an emergency travel.

If I do have to travel for emergency purpose, would I not be able to apply for a travel document? Just asking. So I can think from all angles.
