I saw more AORs for October yesterday than for November, so it looks like they decided to clear October backlog first.
I believe they play a trick to keep the average processing time reasonable by giving AOR to some applications of recent date while leaving many behind, then going back to them later. We already see this is happening in November
Application received in the first week of a month would get AOR faster than those received in the last week?
If this is the case, there must be some KPI for internal review. lol

IP just came through and link to study guide
Does it come via email or the usual check every 3-4 days to look for eCAS status? Plus where to check the eCAS status? MyCIC account or through eCAS look up?

Thanks in advance.

You must've applied for urgent processing, otherwise there is no way your application would move so quick. Please confirm.

Wait, are you sure it's IP ? What does it say on ECAS ? Link to study guide is sent with AOR, not IP.

Does it say "We started processing your application on ... " ?

It depends on the local CPC which will be handling your file. Typically 2-4 weeks, some take longer. Please refer to the spreadsheet (link in my signature).

"In process" means that your file has been transferred From CPC-Sydney to a local case processing center located near your home address. Your file has now begun real processing and will undergo background, eligibility, criminality etc checks.
