Hello All,
I am wondering if anybody else had similar dilemma while filling the "How to calculate physical presence form - CIT 0407E".
1- if number in box F is more than 1095, you are eligible to apply. Shouldn't this be box G? Box F is number of days spent outside Canada.
2. if your calculation in Box J is more than 365, the only enter 365 days of credit. Shouldn't this be box K? Box K is TR or PP credit.

any help would be appreciated to clear this confusion.

Anybody else thinks CIC has got some errors in the form?

Thanks!
Any link to this form as i used the physical presence calculator on their website

Me, too; I don't see any Box letterings at all on my printed form.
I remember when filling that there was another form if you couldnt use physical presence calculator so i guess he went with the form

I used the online version and it worked just fine, although it was a pain going back through all of my past travel records and typing in all of the info.

Yes i already had mine filled since 6 months so i had accurate days from renewing my Pr in december. So i just printed the physical presence form It was really smooth. Though i crosschecked. But yeah i know the initial headache making it worse canada stopped stamping on entry

You seem to be linking the rules for police certificates with the question about your residences. There is no such link.

In fact, even if you never stayed in, say, France, longer than 20 days, each time for nothing more than a visit: If the total is more than 183 days, you need a police certificate. There is no link between the requirement of a PCC and the question where you residing.

Just about that detail, I think generally we seem to agree.

Oh am not linking anything, all I was trying to show is where the 183 days came from. You definitely need to specify where you went regardless how long it is. Now the question was regarding residency, again, this falls to the applicants discretion.
I have my citizenship already, and not intending to confuse anyone. Just here to find look into current lead times, and shedding some light "based on my application experience". Have a great day guys... :)
