I have sent an individual application for myself. The pictures are stamped but I did not put my name on the back. Was it mentioned on the instructions somewhere that I missed or that is a standard practice?

That stipulation was amongst the detailed instructions regarding photos.

I forgot too. Studio Stamp and date was there but forgot to write names. Received AOR. I had the photos paperclipped to individual applications though. It’s on the guide that applicants name and studio details along with date should be on the back of the photo.

I am new to this forum.
Requirements for stay in Canada for obtaining citizenship is not complete yet. But I have some questions because I want to prepare everything before that point.

Do I need police clearence from my home country at the time of application for citizenship?

I already gave it when I applied for permanent residency.

I submitted passport copy, PR card, drivers license and CoPR.

Police clearance is required if you stayed 183 days outside of canada during the last years - as per the checklist.

Some forum members have called CIC and apparently they have said it is not required if your stay of 183 days outside canada is before Permanent residency.

You may choose to do the same. In my opinion, if the form asks for Police clearnce it is better to provide one.

I got tourist visa for 10 years with max stay of 6 months in a go before becoming PR. I stayed for 2 months in Canada as a visitor and then went to India for PR and returned to Canada as permanent resident. So what will be expiry of my tourist visa? What date should I put...expiry date mentioned on visitor visa or date when I left Canada to go to India?

Depends on the condition on the visa. If it was multi entry then your status changed when you landed as a PR

I had a 90 day tourist visa before landing, and that’s how I treated it.

You do need to make sure you are accounting for each and every exit and entry from Canada as asked.

1) I filled out the form CIT 0002E, but I don't see any "Validate" button to generate the barcode. Can you please advise?

2) I had my photo taken at Costco. Do I need to write anything in the back of the photos?

I had multiple entry visitor visa for 10 years, then I left Canada for PR in Oct and returned as PR in November. So expiry date for tourist visa will be the date I left Canada (in Oct)?
