Yes, it's normal. a new line will be added when your oath ceremony is scheduled.
Guys I am still waiting for my invite ...does the status change to test invite in ECAS..what is the change from In Process

The status in ECAS states the date of your exam but the status still "In process"
Not in all cases. my ecas status never showed test date and I had my test yesterday. The latest status on my ECAS is still "We started processing your application on February 6, 2018."

Dear All,

My application was delivered on November 16 and got in the process since feb 7. Its an application for two adults from Calgary? I could see in tracker many applicants with similar timeline already got test invite and DM status. I am just not getting why mine is stuck at IP, i havent got any communication in past three months. ECAS shows they started processing my application on Feb 7 thats it. Even when i am trying to call CIC and choose CIC option doesnt go to a representative.

Can you any one please guide what else i can do.?

How did the test and interview go? Do the officer mention anything about the time scale to oath?;)

It was pretty good. I posted my experience on the forum yesterday. Here is a copy for you ;)

"Just came back from my test/interview. got 18/20. Test was pretty easy, it took me less than 2 minutes to finish it. Interview went well too. The officer was really nice. He verified all the stamps on my passports and ask some general questions about work and family. He told me that I will get oath letter by email in 2 months or less.

Advice for Ottawa Residents: If you are driving to test center, plan to be there atleast 45 minutes before the actual time. It took me 30 minutes to find a parking spot. Downtown is a nightmare in morning peak hours with all the construction going on and traffic. Alternate solution, park your car in park n ride and take a bus. It's a 2 min walk from nearest bus stop."

Thanks a lot for the heads up. I knew parking is bad downtown but didn't know it's that bad...

Please update:

Received Oath letter today May 10th.....Oath Ceremony on Friday May 25th. :)

eta....for those interested this is in Ottawa. Interview and Decision Made were both on April 19....just to give you a feel for the timeline. They told us 1-2 months so the timeframe is holding true.

That's what I thought. All the nearby parking lots were full; I think it is because of the construction going on in that area, most of the lots were filled with trucks that belongs to construction workers. Thankfully I was there an hour early and luckily I found a street parking in one of the street off kent st.

Good luck to you for your test :)
