Hi Seniors, I have done my Finger prints 10 days back from third party who sent it to RCMP. Would you please advise how can I verify if RCMP forwarded that to IRCC.

this has been answered before....

Here is the way to contact RCMP to find out when the results were sent. you need to provide them with your name DOB etc.
Email: CCRTIS-SCICTR@rcmp-grc.gc.ca
Phone: 613-998-6362 between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM Eastern Time

IRCC call center can (sometimes) confirm if they received it from RCMP. As of my case, i called them this morning after having sent the RCMP results myself on Mar 07th. The agents could not confirm it as they see no notes on the file to indicate it.

Call the third party company ...ask them for the DCN..."document control number"
...with this number you can track your document....when you call ottawa just give them this number.....if everything is ok call cic to verify they received results...it take sometimes up to 3-4 weeks for cic to confirm and verify your fp

Since letter issued date is 2nd march and within 30 days IRCC expect the result , can you please suggest what options I have ?

How i can track it now

I called them , they said it takes 7 -10 Business day and asked me to wait for 2-3 more days
Mine is cleared by their end already

I am in ottawa and from RCMP to me took about 5 business days.

RCMP stamps a 87 cent postal stamp and throws it in the mail. I got mine and sent it to IRCC on Mar 07 with tracking. Its been 3 weeks and the agent at the call center could not see anything on the file about receiving the results.

The 30 day deadline should be fine as long as you have submitted the FP. In worst case if you do not see any positive progress in the 30 day timeframe, you can email CIC the receipt and inform them that there was complete compliance from your end. That way there won't be any questions raised on the delay.

I have my test Wednesday in Scarborough.

Was just wondering do we leave our belongings like cellphone, wallet/purse before entering or donyou suggest leaving it in the car ? Or are we allowed to keep it on us

I can't share anything about the exam. I can only say it is not difficult if you read the guide a couple of times and did a lot of practice tests online. Of course things may change when the new guide is finalized. But other than that, your id is checked a number of times and the instructions about the test are explained very clearly by the people managing the test in both languages. Most of us finished early. But everyone remained seated until the end of the test. Then they started calling the names for the interview. During the interview your ids and passport stamps are checked. Any questions will depend on your case. If everything is in order, you should expect the oath ceremony invite in 2-4 months. Again, every case is different.
