Curiously, at which stage did you know that you passed the medical? Just looking at the November spreadsheet and it looks like a bunch of people have indicated that the medical was passed. Thought it would have been processed in AOR2, but maybe I'm wrong?

Thanks

I submitted the medical upfront and a day before I got SA I checked my cic and it said passed

I recieved SA email. :) :)

I have question about the fee payment for the application. How much we had to pay just for sponsoring the spouse that you get married with him/her before Dec. 7?

Because I am checking the cic website for the sponsor application fee payment for after Dec. 7 and I saw that the one part is about the Right of permanent residence fee! so they have to pay $75 for sponsorship, $475 for principal applicant, $490 for right of permanent residence fee! totally they have to pay $1040! Is the fee payment increases from $550 (before Dec 7) to $1040 (after Dec 7)?

I payed $550 for my sponsorship application that is for before Dec 7 and we don't have children or any dependants. Did I pay correct?!

No increase. We pay the same amount of $1040. $490 is the landing fee for PR.

I though the medical got checked after AOR2 but my husband's medicals got checked while they were processing my (sponsor) application. I'm not sure how it works

When you get SA or AOR2, the email will say that if you haven't paid the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, to do so. Or maybe they message you in MyCIC when they need you to pay the RPRF. I'm not sure because I paid it all upfront; I'm in the same situation as you, no dependents, just my husband sponsoring me as the Principal Applicant, and I paid $1,040.

Permanent Residence

We received xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx application for permanent residence on November 2, 2016.
We started processing xxxxxxxxxxxxx application on December 15, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

I just got a third line on my Ecas yay :D. Before I only had Application and medical received and today when I logged in as I haven't logging in for a week ;D ;D ;D It took all my might not to.

I was under the impression they started processing my application earlier as my application got transferred 23rd of November so a bit disappointed. Is anyone's Ecas times this for apart?

does anyone know that once everything is approved and they send you the paper you need to cross the border/land to get your PR, how long do they give you?
Like 30 days? 90 days? How long do you have to prepare (i.e. quit your job, sell your house, pack your bags!)

wow. it's really quiet these days.

Happy Holidays to my fellow November applicants.

True!!

Happy Holidays, too! :)

Merry Christmas

With the cic holidays things will slow down for a week or two.

Hi guys,
I just checked my CIC account after 3 or 4 days and found out that my medical is passed and background check is in process. Should I be happy that maybe it is the last step before PPR or not?

Hi, Is it possible that you fill the spreadsheet. How long it takes from AOR2 and changing of BGC to in process?
