To check sponsor approval status, we simply go to the CIC website and go to check application status. Then enter all the details and the column under "Sponsorship Application Status" (for me it says "In Process" ) is what the sponsor approval application status is right ?

It has say Decision Made or the sponsor should get an email saying that he/she is eligible to sponsor

Yes, but it usually should say "Decision Made" if you have been approved, I think.

but i have a second line in my ecas. Could this be the AOR2? I received the SA Dec 12/2016

dont worry they started processing
sometimes AOR 2just doesnt come
but if ecas is showing in process that means you are not behind others who rcvd email
SA is more important that you already have.

The third being that medicals have been received. Is next step to wait for decision? I still didn't receive AOR2, my VO is NDVO

depends of the agent, some agents just dont send AOR2...
your eCAS is ok... we have same timeline, my second line says for RP, Dec 06... inchallah everything will pass smoothly for us. dont stop praying ALLAH

Same with us. No AOR2 but I guess VO probably willl send email if they require any doc to resubmit later.

IT WAS MY CASE. THEY ASKED ME TO FILL OUT IMM5562 TRAVEL LISTE

Approved as a sponsor and my file has been sent to Manila. Wow that was fast even after a little fiasco.

November 30th- December 15 to be approved as a sponsor
