Ankara VO started processing your app on the "20th." Well, that won't make sense because it's just the 14th? ;D

It was just an example ;) (It's not a quiz :D) I just want to know that when they start the processing of application, the date of mail or the date of PA status that changed to In Process!?

hello all,
Please i need some help. So now my husband got an email requesting the medical exams. and they asked for supporting documents to be sent as well, for example proof of enrollment in university ( which I dont have yet as the deadlines is not until june 2017), and they also requested proof that he is looking for job. But how would he be looking for a job when we are not even there yet? I dont know what to do? what should I send in this case?
Thanks Noor

Hi. First of all, and with all due respect, are you sure they are asking for his proof of enrolment and job employment, and not yours? Just being clear on this one before I can give my 2 cents.

Dear ---(PrincipleApplicant, my husband),

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. You are kindly requested to undergo medical examinations as instructed in the forms sent to you via email. In addition to that, please return this letter with the requested following documents:

- Your sponsor’s proof of university enrollment in Canada---- >this would be me the sponsor
- Proof of accommodation in Canada
- Proof of your search of employment in Canada (your here would be refering to the PA and not the Sponsor right?)

Thanks, this makes me worry!

Dear prvc,

Thank you so much, good points made there. regarding my university enrolment that is what I will do, again. Although I had sent them the emails I had with some of the doctors that I wish to do my PhD with them. I also added contacting the administration for fees and such.

Regarding accommodation, we do not have a place to live in. My parents are exclusively living in Lebanon, and as such they sold their house in Canada after permanently moving to Lebanon. We intend on renting an apartment or buying depending on the market. and plus I do not have family there, (grandfather and his wife but cant and wont sit with them), and no friends to live with.

Job wise, my husband is working, and has been working for more than 10 years now. good income, we sent the bank statement of both of our accounts. but we will make an effort to contact potential employers there to help our case.

So basically I am worried about my proof of uni, and accommodation.

PLUS just a while ago my husband got a phone call from the embassy asking him about the dates and details about his education and work. So we are expecting he gets a phone call to ask about stuff related to us, since she didnt him anything about us.

Thanks for all the help!

Hi
My VO is also NDVO and my application reached to Missisuaga on Nov 7th. I received SA on Nov 30th.

I called CIC last week to check updates. They told me that havent heard back from NDVO.

Today I checked application and a line added that "We started processing application on Dec 13th"

But I did not receive any AOR email yet.

Hey that is completely normal. I got my SA on nov 25, my status online changed to processing app on dec7 and I got aor2 on dec 12. They send aor2 late.

Mine was sent to New Delhi as well! I got my SA just yesterday. How long does it usually take to get AOR2?

Hey it takes about 17 days, but now keep checking your status online on the PA side. Once you see that they started processing your app, you'll know your file had reached the VO.

I filled out the spreadsheet, but it does not seem to be showing on the left near my name like it should be...what have I done wrong?! :)

Ohh, okay, I see, thank you! :) And yes, my husband did his medical in 2016 January, so he may have to do it again, although there is a line that says "medical results received" when I check the status for his permanent residency.

We are prepared for that. He is in Reunion Island and it is relatively easy and cheap for him to do it again, so we are not too concerned about it. :)

Hi. I know sometimes the middle name can mean the 2nd given name, as in Jean in Hermione Jean. But by an any chance, did you mean by his middle name as the maiden name of his mother? :) Thanks for the reply. :)

I was born with just one given name and one last name (my father's last name). When I got married, I dropped my last name (maiden) entirely, so now I just have one given name and one last name (my husband's last name). My husband was born with one first name, a middle name (same as his father's middle name), and a last name (his father's last name). We typically don't inherit our mothers' maiden names in our culture.

Hope that helps!

Please let me know ndvo address to submit pcc..

The sponsor can do it through ecas on https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do
and the PA, where you have to link the app by entering all ur info on mycic on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp

My wife just received SA. Gonna put everything in the spreadsheet soon.
