I have just received and email that my application is missing two items:
1-Processing fee not included, although i am sure i have send them the recipt.
2-Use of Representative IMM 5476, but I don't want to appoint a representative.

Has anyone encountered such thing? any suggestion?
I am planning to send them again the payment receipt but what to do with the IMM 5476?

for the first item it's simple, just send them back a copy!
for that IMM 5476. i advise you to check first your ALL ALL ALL forms that you kept on your Computer those you filled out to sponsor(SA+PA). then check for the part where it is talking about the representative.....!!( may be one of you guys made a mistake to fill out something wrong) OR ( maybe you signed in the space specified for, by error!!
if dont found any, just write an explanatory letter that you did NOT choice a representative

don't want to exaggerate but it's nice they did not send you back the whole application

Hey guys,

as many of you know the Minister of IRCC has a special message in regards to family reunification.
If you are like me; at work and unable to attend the meeting in Brampton, and would like to listen in please see the link below.

Guys, when I check my application status online, it says SA in proces even though I received my SA on nov 25! It's still processing online -is that okay ?

Same for me. I assume it's one of two things: (1) they don't keep the online system up to date (2) I passed the initial check for sponsor (not a criminal, not on welfare, etc.), but they haven't assessed my intent to return to Canada, as I'm living abroad - based on what I've read in different threads I have a feeling they don't check this until towards the end of assessing the whole application - and only after they determine I will moved back to Canada when my husband gets PR will they change the sponsor side to DM.

Of course I'm just speculating, but I don't think it's anything to worry about!

Permanent Residence
1) We received **********'s application for permanent residence on October 31, 2016.
2) We started processing ***************'s application on December 6, 2016.

Paaaaaaaaaaaaris wake up ! still no AOR2 !!

Okay i had a chance to listen on on the message from IRCC minister...

here's a few notes Starting March 2017

-there will be only one application for inland and outland applications
- instead of numerous checklist, there will be one unified checklist.
- they are working to reducing processing time from average 24 months to 12 months,
if you have already applied prior to this date process will take 4 months.
- PR 2 year conditions will be removed
- Age of dependency will increase to 22 form 18
- Standards of medical, security and criminality back ground will stay the same
-they have received 25 million in funding to hire more agents to help with processing times.

It was really muffled but i hope i got the important notes.

**This is incorrect - McCallum did not say those who already applied will be processed in 4 months. Just want to make sure people are not misinformed

Thanks for clearing that up...
This may be a silly question with regards to the processing time being 12 months inland/outland.
There are VO's that have processing times that are already under 12 months how are those applications affected by the new changes or does this not apply ORRR does this mean 12 months is the maximum amount of time to process
