I have sent my application on Nov.25 by Fedex and it was delivered at the Mississauga office on Nov. 28th.
So now I'm waiting for cic email.

The first email (AOR) should arrive one week to 27 days from the date of filing. Welcome to the November club!

hey everyone i'm new to this. anywho, i am lost . i got my AOR. when i looked up my ECAS both are in process, when i click on the sponsorship application status part it says """" We received your application to sponsor ------------------- on November 9, 2016."""""....... then when i click on the Permanent Residence Application Status . it says that
We received ------------- application for permanent residence on November 9, 2016.
We started processing-------------- application on November 24, 2016.

what confuses me is that i have not been approved to be a sponsor yet. but yet they begun processing my wife application. i thought i had to be approved first before they start processing the applicants for permanant resident ?

You have probably already been approved as sponsor. The SA emails are sent out in batches usually so there may be a delay before you receive yours. If you don't see it in a couple more weeks, give CIC a call to confirm. Good luck!

While my application is being processed since November 24th so I'll either have a happy or sad Christmas depending on my application.

Am good thanks. Yes Misscoco's is a different case as if clearly states in the guideline to make sure all the forms are printed together. But all the best Misscoco hope they overlook it.

PRVC I can only imagine what u going through. CIC takes a long time to reply to CSE sometimes. Have u considered calling them?

It was just one of the forms maybe they will ask me to re-do it instead of returning the whole package *crosses fingers*

Yes stranger things have happened. The truth is none of us know for sure we just speculating.

Just because they wrote it in guidelines doesnt mean they will return applications that dont. For example in the same guidelines they said barcode page must be on top and some people dont do that and they dont return, it also it states dont use staplers and people do and they dont return. So we just dont know, all u can do is stay positive and pray.

Hope this applications wont be the death of us ;D ;D ;D ;D we all worry too much. This is just the beginning so pace yourself as u will always find something to worry about until u are approved. Now am stressing myself about AOR2 thinking why is everyone getting theirs and not me. Its madness I tell u

hello all, congrats to all who got the SAs, AORs and the ones that just submitted theirs.

I have been out of the country and it took me some time to read all the new posts.

So my husband received an email from the VO, so I am guessing this is the AOR2. He did not do his medicals upfront, but they have not requested it. So i am just wondering, do we still have some time to do them, or we have a deadline? My husband cannot take the medical exams right now due to work not giving him a day off to be able to do the tests. Anyways so I am just wondering about that and need something to ease my anxiety over this issue.

Ours has been "passed" since I was able to view our application online.

it means that the results must be passed, not stay in progress since the time we made the medical ....in others words it takes too long
