Hi Guys,

I have sent my application to Mississuaga on Nove 3rd and it has been delivered on Nov 7th.
But still no reply for AOR or SA ???

Bit nervous and tensed...

Any advice?

7 NOV it's a little bit early, i had mine after 17 days, others have it 25 days after .. it's not an exact science
i guess you can expect you AOR next days inchallah

I found using all capitals was the trick with mine. I left out Passport info and just went with the name, DOB etc option and it worked. Good luck

Please I need help friends...is anything wrong on applicant travelling to another country after submiting his application and continue living there until he get ppr or interview and send his passport from the said country ,which is not country of his origin?
Will CIC have anything to question about even the person send police check from that country but didn't change his address to CIC?

I am in a similar situation. We applied from Australia (where sponsor is a citizen, and app is a PR) we have now moved to App's country of citizenship. You just need to update your address. And police checks need to be done for every country ap has lived in for more then 6 months since turning 18. Hope that helps.

Ours was received on Nov. 8th and we also haven't heard anything. Its only been 16 days (17 for you) and it's estimated that it takes 27 days for SA, so I think we just have to hang tight until then. If I haven't heard anything after 27 days I'll contact CIC, but that still over a week away. You can also try checking your application online, but I haven't been able to do that yet.

Also, please add your info to the spread sheet! I find it helps to look at the sheet and see that I'm not the only one without AOR1!

Glad to finally be a part of this group!

We mailed in our application on Nov 7th, and it was delivered in Mississauga on the 14th. Can't read the signature so I can't tell who signed for it, R something? haha

Still waiting on any news!!! Any way to check? Or just wait patiently?! We are really hoping that we didn't forget anything and that we'll get approved!

Welcome! You can try to check your application online - some are successful linking their application to mycic, but I'm not one of them... yet.

Ours is Sao Paulo. My husband keeps saying that we'll hear this week but I'm trying not to get my hopes up quite yet!

Hope it would be faster than 10 months!!! it was just 6 months two years ago. On June, the processing time was 8 months last month 9 and now 10 months!!!
Which part of Canada are you intending to live? Where are you from? My husband lives in Montreal and I am from Rio but lives is São Paulo but I am moving to Montreal next month, I will wait the process there.

Well, good lucky for us and hope we can hear good neews very soon : )

I'm hoping it will be less than 10 months too! From what I've seen on the threads here and other forums, lots of people are getting PR after 7-8 months! I hope that's the case for us as well!
We're going to live in Toronto when we first get back to Canada. That's where I'm originally from. We're living in João Pessoa now and probably won't make arrangements to go back to Canada until we have PPR.

Today I was finally able to link to my application on mycic! I hope we both get good news soon!

I was finally able to link my application today! There was no trick or anything, I entered the same information I've been entering every day for the last two weeks! I think they must have just finally put us in the system!

I hope everyone else who's been trying can link soon too!
