Lol everything was great until today. We got an email from them asking for medical to be done (we did it upfront and submitted emedical form we received that day) and also to submit a statutory declaration of common law union form. This is weird, because guide 3900 says it only applies in cases where the common law is a cosigner on the application. I am currently sponsoring my common law. I replied to ask for clarification, as much as I don't want to pay to have another document notarized I'll do it of course. Just socks that this unavoidable thing is delaying the process...

it's very serious!!! they can ask you for the medical to be done again in the only case if they found something very bad with the health, for example: AIDS, Sexually transmitted diseases ( god bless us). and 100% it is the case.
because yourself have submitted the medical paper and your doctor has himself submitted eMedical as well ....

if it's the case do not alarm your girl friend about this( she will be sick for something not certain) , just ask her to do it again and change for an other doctor.... because it can be a simple mistake of name or date of birth etc...

why you are worried ? now, if you said that your daughter will not move to Canada, you have nothing to pay for her... we pay only for those who their application is treated for a RP which is not your daughter's case

Well thank you for that! I assumed we had to pay the application fee for her as well since it was required I add her to the application even though she is not coming with me. That was confusing. Christmas gift it is then.

Yeah it was nothing like that. It wasn't a request to do it over again, it said to go do it if not already done or to provide proof if it was done. I sent them a copy of the eMedical and they responded that all is good and now it shows passed on mycic... I think they may have lost it along the way... makes me wonder about all the other stuff in that package.

I was getting jealous that some of you folks were able to link your application to myCIC without any communication from IRCC. Through trial and error I finally got it too. Though it's nice to be able to see the progress it reads:

Application/profile status: Open
Review of Eligibility: Not Started
Review of Medical Results: Not needed at this time
Review of Submitted Documents: (blank)
Schedule an Interview: Not needed at this time
A Background Check is Needed: Not needed at this time
Final Decision: Not Started

So not much action on our application at this time. They received my application November 16.

Details I used to link to myCIC:
- First and Last Name and Date of Birth; entered these details as they were on the application.
- City of Birth exactly as it was entered into form IMM0008
- Province, City/Town/Village, and Current Marital Status exactly as we entered into our application
- Number of Family Members I entered 2 because I am sponsoring my common law and no one else.

Thank you for this information. I've been trying to link my husband's application to his account and it keeps saying no application found. But we received an update that they started processing his application a week ago. My question is, since we have a child would I enter 3 or still just enter 2?

Try using 3

I've tried using 1, 2 and 3 and still doesn't work. It's driving me crazy lol. We sent our application Nov. 16th. I've been approved as a sponsor and they have started processing my husband's application. Maybe I'll just wait another week or so and see if I can link it then. Maybe still to early?

Try using 3, and use the Application Number, Last Name option. It's not too early. You should be able to link your app by now. Hit one space for the Place of Birth.

Howwww did you get it working, my App started processing December 15th, I've literally tried linking it over 160 times (I have four accounts, 5 tries per account * 8 days) but nothing works. I put a space in for the city, I've used 2 instad of 1, I've tired a combo of UCI and App number, App number and last name.. etc. Nothing works
