Just got the SA email! Mycic hasn't updated yet, it still says "review in progress" for review of eligibility, but I'm sure it'll update soon!

My cic hasn't updated for me either even though I received SA already and file has been transferred to the visa office. Weird! Maybe we just wait ?

No its two different things. Your sponsor has passed his/her eligibility but now u need to pass eligibility as they need to be satisfied that your relationship is real. So mycic eligibility wont be passed for a while yet.

Question, awesome people, please? My husband's name is quite long and when they addressed him, his name was cut short (i.e. from Albus Severus Potter to Albus Seve Potter). Does he have to correct his name? Thank you guys!

Congratulations, by any are you able to check the status on ecas or linking the application to mycic?

In regards to the name I know that in their system they should have it in full, but might as well confirm it with someone else to be assured.

So no AOR for me.. Is the App Number/File Number same with UCI? If not, then I'll just have to wait for the AOR2 from my VO.. Emotionally draining? Tell me about it!! This has been a roller coaster of emotions. I pray that we all receive our PPRs in no time!! By God's grace..

UCI is different from app number but u dont really need UCI when u got file number. U can use that to log on to ecas

Thank you, Bukayo! Finally! I see that 5 days after file transfer, you received your AOR2, is that correct? And how soon were you able to log in to your ECAS? Thank you.

Yes, that is correct. I can log to my ECAS the moment they received my application.

Identification Type - use your application number or UCI or Receipt number
Identification Number - just indicate what you have use
Surname - at first I use my sponsor's details
Date of Birth - sponsor's bday
Place of Birth - sponsor's birthplace

It was almost a week after I got SA before I was able to access ECAS.
