November 2016 inland application OWP waiting longer than 4 months

hi, hope someone here has same experience as me.

I submitted my application for inland spouse application, same time i submitted my work permit (i am chinese and my husband is canadian)

November 10th, 2016, i mailed out the application and November 11th, it is received by CIC.

we got our file number at December 1st, 2016.

I have been waiting for my work permit for over 4 months now, and i called numerous times and before the 4 months date, they told me to call back if i haven't received by then. I called back on March 13th and again March 16th, what they told me was they already send a message to see why my application has been delayed but there is nothing else they can do. i just need to wait.

does anyone has the same experience? i don't know how much longer i have to wait?

Hi

The 4 months isn't exact. Many people wait between 4-5 months to receive the OWP. It sucks but you just need to wait it out.

PR + OWP received by CIC on 15th Nov/2016 and Im still waiting for my OWP.
Any updated about ur process?

You are actually only 10 days passed 4 months. Others in the inland 2016 thread are reporting that OWP's are a little delayed at present. I know for my wife, who was in March 2016, it showed up pretty much at 4 months. At the 4 month mark, you can call CIC to ask them what happened to it. Did you try to do that?

I did, called after the 4 months date, and they told me to wait.

I called them and i asked for my work permit process number.
With this nr, i can check the status by phone without speak to the agent.
