Yes, as imran01 said, you'll have to wait for the physical letter, which can take a few days to arrive - specially since we're in the middle of the holidays. I've got the same message and it was a fingerprint request, took five days for the letter to arrive - early December, so no holidays to interfere with postal office delays.tim50 said:

I believe there's no single reason to a fingerprint request - or to any other request that might be made during the process. It can be a number of things, each case is different.
What I can tell is that, as far as I can see, the fingerprint request had little to no impact on the process speed, thankfully. So, patience, guys. As long as we check all the boxes, all we have to do is wait, and maybe add a few info on the way.
It seems nobody on the November 2016 feed went through an address change (I didn't)... Try looking at other feeds, there are some months with much more people talking, you might have better luck.sidestep4u said:

What I did was call the one closest to my work and ask questions, since I didn't had the option to do it at the RCMP. The place in which I had my fingerprints done did it all electronically - the fingerprints went from there to the RCMP, which in turn send them to the CIC, all electronically.
