you could call them and ask about that, maybe they transferred and you do not know! or the RQ is coming , hopefully not part of that group.

I saw that in few cases it too around 20 days to the transfer, I'll cross my fingers and wait until Tuesday of next week!!!

Hi,

I started my application October 31st following is on the webpage:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 31, 2014.

2. We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 15, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3. We started processing your application on February 10, 2015.

4. Your file was transferred to the Scarborough Citizenship Operations office on February 25, 2015. The Scarborough Citizenship Operations office will contact you.

I wasn't expecting it to be like this, I was of the impression it takes a lot longer. What does this mean? Is the next step the test date?
I never received a letter in the mail I only received an email, which was the acknowledgement.
Will k receive an email or letter in the mail for the test. Should I start studying or is it too soon.
Any guidance will be appreciated.

AOR on January 22, 2015
Started processing application on January 26, 2015.
RQ letter date January 26, 2015
File transferred to the Scarborough Citizenship Operations office on February 17, 2015
RQ response sent to Scarborough on February 28, 2015
RQ response received on March 03, 2015 ( based on Canada post tracking)

Guys, do you think it is wise to call CIC and ensure my RQ response was received? Do they usually give such information? This is just to make sure I don't get any surprises after the given timeframe ( 45 days).

How often CIC up-dates a file status??

I updated my case in the tracker. I did notice no one else had entered any one else having entered dates, mine was the first.

Congrats, you are probably the first Nov applicant to receive test date, let us know how it goes and if you get an Oath date right away.
