Thank you Sofia :) I didn't send my PCC nd RPRF yet so it may delay my process but we will see!

Even I have applied on November 6th 2013 and got my medicals done on Jan 7th but did not send PCC along with my application. Are you waiting for them to request it or did you send it separately?

Hi lilcysel,
I am new to this forum. I know you were asking for processing times for Pr after nomination but perhaps you could share your views about my queries.

My husband got his nomination today. He applied in June 2013 under skilled worker "B". We are outside Canada right now and wanting to know how my husband could secure the work permit? Can he flag pole in Edmonton Airport using his multiple entry visitor's visa (valid until 2015) along with nomination letter and job offer? Can he get his work permit in the airport? Also can I and our 2 kids could flag pole with him altogether since we have all our multiple entry visitor's visas as well?

Or my husband needs to apply work permit in Canadian embassy outside Canada and wait for months again?

many thanks

Hi rocky, we have similar situation. I think they would ask for it but I sent my PCC yesterday(Jan.14,2014) anyways. It's been almost three months since i got my PCC so i thought i should send it.Because I have a file number I just attached a letter mention my name, DOB and file number with original PCC.

Hi,
I don't really have experience getting a work permit at the port of entry. May be somebody else could answer your questions. I would call CIC and ask them these questions or an immigration consultant would answer these questions too. Sorry i'm not a big help :(
P.S. - I studied in Canada and I'm living in Canada. And i'm applying PR within Canada.

Good to hear Lilcysel, I was confused as in to send it or not, Because I have heard that if you send it without they asking it they may ask it again. I presume you sent it by Mail but I have heard you can Fax it as well. Have you heard of anything of this sort? Also did you mail them to CIC Sydney or was it to Ottawa? The only reason I am asking this is because the file is eventually sent to Ottawa for police clearance and overview... I also have the police clearance for above 3 months now and am not sure how to proceed here..

That's funny we have exact same situation!! I sent it by registered mail to Ottawa. If you check this link it will tell you how to send additional documents.

Hi. We all have the same situation. I got my police certificate since september 2013 and until now im still waiting for Sydney NS or Visa Office to request it from me. Im worried now that it might be invalid by the time they request it. I even emailed Sydney and here's their reply:

Dear Madam:

Please be advised that your medical results have been received, your file is awaiting assessment at CIO-Sydney and a request for the police certificates will be sent in due course.

Thank you.

So, i think the best way is to just wait and wait and wait ....... :o

Thank you very much for the link, I tried to look but couldn't find it. Yes I do see that we have exactly the same situation :) . Guess I will be mailing them the police clearance certificate as well so they should have it even before they request it..lol..

There is one more thing I am worried about.. What if it is lost in mail or they do not have record of it, because if this happens, then to request one more police clearance will take a lot of time and because they specifically asked for original on the link I cannot submit a copy. I know I am thinking to much but because it is for Immigration purposes which is very important for us just want to see if there is another way out of this except reapplying.... I hope that this never happens to anybody and is worst case scenario kinda thing... :)

Did they ask you for it? Thanks for letting me know!

Nope they didn't ask for it but I thought I will send it before they ask. Also I do know an applicant personally and she did the same and didn't have any problems..
PS My application status updated and now it says Medical received. :)

Hi Rocky_bombastic, Good to know you sent your PCC as well. We will see what they do. Happy to know that your application status has been changed to medical received :)

Dear Friends

After suspension of my ECAS for about 4 months, my consultant again gave me the new user name and password last week and now I am able to login.

Now, my Application status is " Application submitted"

My category has changed to "International Skilled Worker"

I am SINP Skilled worker applicant from Pakistan.

Timeline

Applied file in March 2012

Document Request submitted July 2013

E-CAS account suspended in October 2013

E-CAS again online in Feb 2014 with status "Application Submitted"

Anyone here who went through OR going through the same situation???????

Please respond.

Thanks
