Hi

I applied for AINP under Alberta Work Experience Category in November 2013 and my work permit is expiring in November 2014. I've received the file number from AINP office on January 6. Haven't heard anything after that!!

Please guide as I'm really worried as my status is expiring in November 2014 and my employer is not willing to extend my permit or provide any positive LMIA.

Please share your suggestions.

you cant use your file number for your work permit extension the only thing that you need to have is the file number from the PR or CIO once you have a file number you can apply for BOWP or bridging open work permit

Got my PPR today.

Hey guys need your advise with my situation.
got my ppr today but I will be visiting my parents for a month from November end till new years.
Does anyone know if CIC gives deadline or some sort of time frame to do landing once i send my passport in for stamping
I was thinking to delay sending my passport for a month so that I will have spare time to finish the formalities..
Is anyone aware about timeframe that we have to finish landing after getting passport stamped ??

Thanks

Still waiting for my PR Card.

Hey everyone, I'm fairly new here, I was hoping someone might be able to give me some insight as to the timeline journey I'm up against. Sorry in advance if I'm on the wrong thread.

BC PNP Applicant who has been approved and sent application to CIO. I'm living and working in BC already.

My AOR and medicals were June 30th 2014.
ECAS was showing Medical results received about 2 weeks later.

Now it's been sitting still waiting to start processing for 3 months. I've looked at most peoples timelines showing that the time to start processing is usually 6 months. Is that still current information? Also whats the timeline after the processing starts?

Thanks very much in advance

We went to Carway. Officers are not that nice. They said it's not their job to do the papers on PR landing. It is now by appointment, better go to Coutts. I told them i am pregnant and it is so hard for me to travel more hours to go to coutts and they did entertain my papers with a heavy heart. I waited 3 hours in carway. They told me you have to wait until we're not busy, this is not our job so you have to wait until i get a time to do your papers, after 3 hours of waiting i got my passport back. :)

Im just curious about where should we do our "landing" then if they say "it's not their jobs to do PR landing docs"?

Well based on my knowledge. Ottowa is processing the dec and jan applications. They received my application on Dec 27 2013. My ecas is still showing MER. Other dec applications almost get their PPR. But the good thing is their processing time is much faster than before lol

It's more than 1 month for my wife's medical submitted after added into PR application, waiting for next updates from CPC-Ottawa.

Any idea how much time they take for this .. ? my time line is

AOR - 4 Dec 2013
In process - 20 April 2014
DM - 1 June 2014
PPR - 20 June 2014
added spouse in PR (acknowledgement/MR - 14 Aug 2014) - got married in March 2014
Spouse medical - 16 Aug 2014

Thanks
