hi samzzzz,

Looking at your timeline, you got IP after 8 months. It gave me some hope as I am on 7 months plus and still on AR.did they ask any additional docs from you that causes the delay of IP?was the IP date the one on ecas or the day you saw it changes on ecas?

I had to re-submit the Schedule A form, and my RPRF fee receipt was being delayed. I sent everything through fax and then by Courier as well to CIO. It finally changed to IP and then DM in 2 weeks. Let's see how long I have to wait to receive the passport request..

Thanks and good luck.

All - I just got nominated by NS. I need your view point on one issue

Do I turn in application while I wait for PCC (I just did my finger printing and it'll take 30 days to get report back from the FBI)?

Or Do you suggest I wait for the PCC prior to turning in application ? This means 30 days before I turn in my app ?

Which will you suggest and why ? I've heard getting everything and frontloading your apps with all documents will make processing faster

Hi Deb_oruga, true. I had the same experience at Carway. The immigration officers were so rude and they were asking me why did not I go to Calgary office for landing. I waited around an hour to get my papers back.

Just a question aanns13. They did not mention that they will send my PR Card on my address. Are we going to apply for PR card? Or does the carway officers will do that for us,? kinda weird cos they did not get my address info, all they got is my workpermit and passport, COPR it doesn't state there my address. To my excitement on doing my PR landing i forgot to ask this question on the visa officer. Anyone got an idea? Thanks have a blessed day

I just did my landing yesterday in Saskatchewan. The officer asked me if I'm living at the same address and she mentioned the address. I was like yes. So I'm assuming they will send your PR card to whatever the address that you provided at the time of PR application!

Yes, they asked me the same question to verify I am staying at the same address to forward the PR Cards.

They told me my PR card will be sent to my address but they did not take my address. So I called CIC (select option that says Permamnent Residence Card) and check my address on file. They usually use the same address they send your passport. But for mental peace, you can call and confirm your address is correct.

Also, when I called, they told me that the processing time of PR card is changing randomly. Currently, the processing time of PR card is roughly 33 days. So We should get our PR card within a month or so I believe.
