While applying GCMS notes what documents do i have to attach. should i just ignore it. Can you please help me out. Thanks

I only sent an email and was replied after 12 days from Ottawa. I never applied for GCMS as they take like a month to reply and I have DM since July 10th. So I don't think I should.

I know someone whose status remained IP until he suddenly got PPR without even getting DM. So be hopeful. Something will happen eventually but not immediately. But I totally hear you as I have stuff too that I can't get done until I get PR.

I do not why but there is no direct point of contact at CIC when your application is being processed compared to what they have in Australian Immigration where you know the visa officer's contact info who is processing your file.

The only thing you could get close to here is the 'GCMS' which also takes time and is not straight forward.

I wish we had more information that reflects on the status of our applications being processed especially when there is need for communication. I am sure this would save a lot of time for both CIC and the applicant.

I second that summerr. We can only hope this change will be made in near future.

SO Weird....nobody got PPR even today...but again, today is Friday, maybe they update everything and send emails on the weekend.
My status changed to IP on a Friday morning and DM on Sunday midnight.

I got DM yesterday. So I think they will be sending PPR's to all of us together. Lets hope to get it in this week. But keep everyone updated if anyone gets it.

Madness how I'm still waiting.

I'm leaving Canada on August 22nd. Regardless.

Guys I think I'm gonna go crazy pretty soon with the lack of updates on my case!

I'm from England 29 my wife also from England 28 no criminal records ever no divorce no children
Both inland not asked for additional documents no contact from CIC what so ever

I'm emailed both Ottawa and Sidney July 7th and I also requested GCMS notes July 4th
I'm out of ideas I hate the fact you cannot contact any one about your file it's frankly perfetic I hate this the PR cannot come quick enough if I had my time again I would not have come due to my experiences with the joke of a company I work for and the immigration program sucks!
You would think being English would speed up the process considering Canada shares England's queen but oh no it's the opposite if your English your screwed get to the back of the Que several times over.
In summary I'm P-I-s-s-e-d off with the whole thing now

I'm sure as others have told me that your app is beyond application received. Still, it should be further ahead.

It's the most poorly organized process I've ever been part of.

Extremely poor, I had say!!

You send them the docs, and they again request them in another two weeks leaving the applicant in oblivion.

Finally IN PROCESS!!

Started on July 14th, but I just checked it today. I still sent all the documents to Nova Scotia (ATTN:SJP) last week..proly just a waste of time and money...
