Every one here is talking about their applications being 'IN PROCESS' at this point of time for all the Novermeber 2013 applicants. But does any one really know what does that signify.

Does it mean they have every thing that they need from us to process our application and are working on it OR is it just something they update on our application when it gets transferred to the main processing office(in this case CPP-Ottawa).

Am I missing something. Sorry guys, but I just want to clarify the ambiguity. Thank you.

HI Summerr
I agree that is quite an ambiguous issue. But from what i have read, once the ECAS changes to IP, they don't request any more documents. Then the ECAS change to DM with in matter of 6 weeks to 2 months and then PPR I think and then Visa and landing.
I hope this god awful wait is over soon. You at least got IP, i am Feb 8 applicant and i have a longgggggggg wait to go. But they didnt request any additional documents from me yet.
Good Luck!!!

For updating email on my file i had:
First sent email to CIO Sydney Search Enquiry@cic.gc.ca
submitted online request through Address change online form where we can maintain new email id and in comments we can mention ab update required
sent paper application to CIO sydney via regular email.
Sent Fax to CIO sydney to update new email id.

I am not sure which one worked but i feel they updated it looking at Fax request.

Hey guys,

I need to mail my PCC to Sydney NS. I am sending it through express post but confused on which address i should send it.. regular one or courier?? as postman said courier charges are different than express.... ::)

Hi There - How long are you going away for ? As long as you have a Valid visa to return to canada you will be fine. I think once you get the request to submit your passport you get 60 days to submit it to CIC. The experts here can confirm.
