Did you submit a hard copy to them with your file or electronic transfer?
how we can send RCMP fingerprint to CIO

Hi guys joining the thread. Congrats to all the Nov applicants who have heard good news so far, those in line, not to worry your day is coming up soon. I noticed quite a few are waiting for RPRF. Just in case anyone asks, I did pay mine when I submitted my application. They encourage you to do so when paying the application fees. It was a lot to pay at once but I did it any ways and got it out the way. I guess its for faster processing so I did. It does cut down on the amount of time emailing back and forth. I am in Canada for more than six months so I submitted RCMP fingers prints. I went to the local police station, they took my prints and sent it to Ottawa RCMP for a Canada wide criminal check. Ottawa RCMP sent the results back to me and I submitted it with my application along with the other PCC from my home country. I haven't gotten any request from them otherwise so I guess that it how they want it to be done ::) Hope that helps for anyone looking for some answers along that line.

That's a right way to deal with this .

Thanks

Good LUCK :)

Hi Guys,

Those who want to send their RCMP, please do not open the envelop. We have to post the sealed envelop, not the scanned one as it is confidential. It was instructed by RCMP employees.

hello guys..
Does any one got RCMP request email? i saw yersterday got some body...
i don"t know whats going on becouse i didn"t submite RCMP clearance with my application & even they didn"t request it until now..
but people who already submitted RCMP CLEARANCE with applications got e mail for RCMP CLEARANCE......

My application guide from BC PNP, says clearly: you do not need to apply yo the RCMP for a police clearance - CIC will apply for a RCMP clearance on your behalf if one is required.

I did open mine, if they didn't want us to see the results then they would put a system in place to send it directly to CIC and not to us. I don't know.... different people experience different stuff on here, its hard to say what it what eeh :-X

I got an email with the same request! The email is from CIO and wants it to be submitted with in 60 days from the date of the email.

No, we can't open it, bcoz CIC might think we tamper the result. When i did my Canadian PCC, lady over there especially instructed me not to open. But when i applied for PCC from my own country they send me open PCC, so i sent as it is. Rest CIC knows... ??? ???
