Don't mention it then...Leave it blank. Do keep the courier tracking number for future reference.

Yes, Sydney has more than 50 Case processing agents (someone told me...not sure if this is correct)
You dont know your application is with which one...
But there is aprocedure in sydney and all CIC offices, where once a document reaches and the user/applicant quotes their app number...someone with initials "DS" signes and receives it and hands over the application to designated agent for your file.

And yes, sometimes they forget to update ECAS to IP, DM etc, but have already sent the application to Ottawa if completed.
So no harm in emailing Ottawa. They may send an email saying they dont have your application but I believe they are bosses of Sydney people and it gets escalated.
