NOVEMBER 2013 PNP APPLICATIONS

Here is my timeline:

Category: BC PNP
Visa Office: CPC Ottawa
Application received: 17. Jan 2014.
AOR and Medical: 21. Feb 2014.
RPRF Request: 27. Feb 2014. (it was before medical was done)
RPRF paid: 28. Feb 2014.
Medical done: 03. Mar 2014.
Reminder e-mail (RPRF, PCC...): 15. May

I have contacted Sydney by e-mail to ask about putting my application "in process" (how long I need to wait for it and what is the next step in the process for PR)

CIC have answered me today:

Your application is in process. An email was sent on 17 May 2014 as a reminder to:

· Renew passports if less than 6 months validity

· Submit all police certificates required

· Review copy of application and check Personal Details and Addresses to ensure no GAPS and to submit a new Schedule A if there are GAPS

· Complete medicals

· Pay the RPRF


What does it mean? Why does My ECAS stil show APPLICATION RECEIVED if it is in process?
How long is normal to wait for PPR after this stage?

Please help me.

Nobody knows, I have the same timeline, but I'm December applicant, also I did my medicals on Jan 24 and the only news that I heard from them was the reminder email on May 15. And my application still Shows "application received"

Hi, Normally it is taking 7 months to get ppr request after application has been received by cic.

We are mostly November applicants here and almost everyone who has sent the applications after November 8th is still in application received status. I think they have stopped putting applications 'In Process' status(apparent from cic mail) and in my opinion will directly change to 'Decision Made'(I may be day dreaming here :'().

This "In Process" is not the same meaning as "In Process" in ECAS. If you check with them, is your case in sydney or ottawa, you might find your case is still in Sydney. "In Process" in ECAS means your case transferred to ottawa for later processing. I think what they wanna say is that they are still processing your case.

My friend whose case was received by Nov 12 got IP last Sunday. I think they do IP by file num. Let's wait and pray, hope good news comes soon!

So I sent an email on April 28th to CIO asking if they received my documents that they requested(April 22). This is what they replied me today: All requested documents are on file. You will be contacted shortly regarding a decision on your application.

That means PPR is on the way

i have sent it this one CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca. since 16 may. but never got a reply till date .. they take a while to reply.. i am a november applicant too.. still application received as well.. did they ask you for any further docs? that might be the cause of delay .
