From what I read, in most cases the files get transferred to the local office after the disappearance of the "Received" line. However, some people reported that the file get transferred right after the disappearance and other mentioned that it took a couple of weeks for that transfersampao10 said:Quick question,
does the disappearance of "received"line mean the file has been transferred to local office?
Awesome Cha2. I will keep my eyes opened and will keep u posted if I hear anything.Cha2 said:Hello Mrbravo,
I have not heard anything but I think we are going to have our oath on June 9th . The CIC citizenship ceremony website was just updated this morning which included a date for St. John's.
I am so hopeful we will be "in the number". Let's keep our eyes wide open on our mail boxes and Ecas
Thank you very much!saywisdom said:From what I read, in most cases the files get transferred to the local office after the disappearance of the "Received" line. In my opinion, the line disappears when something gets completed (maybe the background check) but it doesn't necessarily mean that the file is sent to the local office

I got 20/20 on the test, and interview went very smoothly.
I arrived 40 minutes earlier. I was nervous so I used that time to relax.
Once in the test room it took me about 5 minutes to answer the questions and double check them.
Since I was the first to finish the test, I got called for the interview right away.
The officer was a very nice lady, quite talkative, which made the interview very relaxing and enjoyable. She went over every document(photocopies) I had initially submitted with my application, and asked to see the originals. We talked about random subjects and travel, she was especially interested about a trip I made to a Scandinavia country, where she wants to go.
After all the checking was over, she said my file was going to be reviewed by a judge and that if they are satisfied with it I should receive the Oath notice within the next couple of months.
Now waiting for the last leg of this race.. haha
Good luck everyone.

Do you mind letting us know how did you prepare for the exam i.e. quiz online, read book etc.
Thanks,
May I ask you what ID did you submit in your citizenship application ? And at the interview what type of ID you presented?boasorte said:Thanks, peoples_champ.
I read the study guide three times, one of those times was on the night before the test. It's a very easy read, and, as you know, everything you need to know is on there.
I also did the "Your Library" quizzes. They are entertaining and a great reinforcement tool as well.
I submitted driver's license, passport, work ID, school ID, health card and PR card. For the test they just wanted to confirm my identity so I just gave them my PR card.osamaamany said:May I ask you what ID did you submit in your citizenship application ? Thank you for your quick reply ..do you think if I present an expire health card which was valid at the time of applying for the citizenship , this may trigger him and lead me to RQ?boasorte said:I submitted driver's license, passport, work ID, school ID, health card and PR card. I doubt that would trigger RQ. Do you have a new health card? If you don't, that may raise a question regarding your presence in Canada, but as long as you can provide a reasonable answer for not having one you should be fine.osamaamany said:Thank you for your quick reply ..do you think if I present an expire health card which was valid at the time of applying for the citizenship , this may trigger him and lead me to RQ?
