Hi everyone,

I have finally received my convocation for the exam on April 28 (Scarborough). I was also told before that there is a waiting list for the exam, so some of us could be in the antechamber, waiting to enter soon !!

Best to all of you

I wrote my citizenship test today and was very easy. The questions were just common sense.

The interview went very smooth, The agent checked the date of departures and entries claimed on my application and compared to the stamps on my passport. She went over them one by one. I had 4 entry missing stamps mostly at Calgary airport. She said this became a common thing in many airports. Anyway, I gave her my CBSA report and she said " O Lovely" you make my life easy. She was pleased that I had that one. Also she asked for my translation for some of the stamps I had on my passport and gave her the translation.

She didn't care about my NOA nor my employment letters and gave them back to me.

The interview took an average of 10 minutes, 8 minutes were devoted to the stamps.

Advice: bring your CBSA report with you if you are missing any entry stamp and translate your stamps if they aren't in English or French.

Thanks and Best of luck everyone.

You will have to translate it because the half Arabic doesn't mention whether a stamp refers to entry or exit from the country (I do have a few stamps from Dubai as well). Thus you will have to translate them

The stamps in other languages that were before you landed must also be translated because the agent needs to verify they were old.

thanks and good luck

send to the following address

Canada Border Services Agency
Dan Proulx
Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator
410 Laurier Avenue West, 10th Floor
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0L8
Telephone: 613-960-1414
Facsimile: 613-957-6408

don't forget to include a 5 Dollars Cheque for the Canadian Border Service Agency

Also add in the request the type of information you require which " history of entry into Canada from such date until present"

It will take about 40 days until you receive it. Please note that CBSA reports the history of entry ONLY! the exit history is not recorded and is unknown.

Hope this helps

thanks and best of luck
