How long will it take to receive AOR after the application in process? Please advise.

My application was processed on January 28 and I still haven't received my AOR!

Me too. Online it says application started January 27, 2014... still nothing in the mail. I'm a very anxious person and keep worrying/going to mailbox. At least I'm seeing here I'm not the only one...

It takes about 2-3 months.

Same thing here, XZB33. CIC received my application the same day. Depending on your local office it may take a little longer to receive AOR.
I am from Halifax, so I am hoping that's the reason for the extended lack of updates.

It seems like applications from Toronto and surrounding townships are being processed faster than the other cities such as Montreal, Edmonton or Halifax.
I'm from Montreal and still no update on ecas. However application has been received on the 21st of Nov.

Same here in Montreal:

Sent 25 Nov13, Received 28Nov13, in Process 11Feb14

Nothing in the mail yet.
Quebec by the way is discriminated on the Citizenship side, when you see that in Ontario they have 4-5 processing centers for only 2 times more the applicants and in Quebec you have only 1.
Windsor with its 200k inhabitants Churns out new citizens in 7 month! while in Montreal it takes 24!

Mine was on the 25th. Also no news. Guys do you think it's a fare assumption that if they were to return the file as incomplete it would return max within 2 months? Has anyone heard or experienced longer return periods?
I applied the first time on October 28th, it was returned 3 weeks later for missing children school records (and I was not even applying for them) afterwards you have my timeline :)
