Hi everyone,

I did my medical in mid-July 2014 and am currently waiting for my passport request. I reside in Canada and want to leave the country for about 3 weeks in November. In case I get my passport request between now and the end of November, I want to want to know the time period for passport submission. I have tried to glean this information from various online sources but to no avail. If anyone out there has any pertinent details, please let me know. Thank you and good luck to all CEC applicants.

In my GCMS notes due date is 2014/08/04, but I didn't get any PPR request so not sure what is this due date .

In our 1st gcms notes due date was aug 5...but nothing then...n in the latest gcms its dec15... V scary.....now i dont have any hopes for next 3 months...and even after that not sure when((

In my one gcms note due date august 5 and they made decision on July 17

Hi friends, I am a Jan 2014 applicant and still waiting for MR. However, known from your thread, actually, for some applicants, it would still cost lots of time to wait for PPR after MR. Is it because your medical results are not good or your eligibility or security check has not passed yet? Originally, I think MR means everything is passed except medical exam.

Same here, in my GCMS notes due date is 2014/08/04 and notes were generated on 2014/08/12, so dont think it has any significance.

No not entirely because of medical results, there are few cases where even final decision is being made but PPR is not yet issues, few cases where eligibility/security/medical all 3 are passed but no DM or PPR yet, and there are few cases where it took 4 months after medicals done to status change in ECAS, so it depends on which scenario you are.
