Guys.."Jasminep/Rg1234/Ramz1604/RobyBaggio" my application status updated to "In-Process" on this weekend....I need to wait longer for PPR as the security and criminality checks are still in-process (as per GCMS notes)...and i had extensive travel history in past.

Yes i am waiting.and i think there are few other people waiting for meds.
not sure whats the issue with the November applicants for the CIC.
no kind of requests form cic in my case apart from AOR

I am willing to apply of for Canadian Experience class and my question is i m working for an employer as a manager since July on off campus work permit as a full time employee.( i have my T4 and NOA from july till December) I got a letter of graduation from the college Registrar stating i graduated on 7th of August. so if i apply for CEC with the Reference letter provided by my employer dated 8th August do i qualify under Canadian Experience Class qualifying work experience...... and if yes how should i explain this to the visa officer?

If you have worked on a off campus work permit this experience is not counted towards Canadian Experience class. The experience gained on a Post - Graduation work permit will be valid .

Hi,

landed last night @ CARWAY around 7pm. Took only about 5 mins @ US side. Asked only about our job and any crime committed, and any weapon and alcohol..and ask to go inside then officer handed us the refusal form. And send us back to canada side.

@ canada side lil bit tense coz we didnt notice the stop sign at the gate while lining up coz we're too busy talking. Our fault!! Thought we are just lining up for a cup of coffee at tim hahahaha

officer got mad lil bit. Hehe

inside the building officer ask my all work permit, otherwise he will put my docs on hold . I forgot to bring my very first WP (2009). arggghhhh!!! Dnt want to travel back thousands of miles.

glad he just said ok, just bring it with u when u process ur new sin# and surrender it!!

Finally we are permanent resident.. Thank u to all the unselfish response, to some of us here who really spend time just to reply every question specially 'toby'.. Been a smooth jurney on my part..

No, you don't need a US visa. At the US side you're issued an administrative refusal and then you're
send back to Canada. You do not have to enter the US for the process, unless you want to.

I see you are also 2283. Me too. I see couple of others from 2283. Is this just co-incident or the VO to assess 2283 code is not available?

Same here...no extensive travel history...only travel in 2005 was to US on B1/B2 visa. 'In process' from July 6th.

Hi ,

I got the RPRF request on June 16th itself and i paid as well. Only thing pending was ECAS status was not showing my medicals received status even though i did upfront medicals on April 23rd 2014.

I am hoping to get PPR in a week or two.

Today My ECAS status changed to "Decision Made" from In Progress. I hope i will get the PPR request soon..

Congr8ss definitely you will get your PPR soon...
I guess you added your spouse to your application latter while your application was in process ?? right ??
I m still waiting for my PPR. I did every thing upfront (e-meds + rprf).
