Yes we have to scan & Email CIC the UMI confirmation (one received from doctor).
I did my e-meds on 12-Apr & notified CIC on 21-Apr.

App. filed: Nov.1/13
App. received: Nov.4/13
AOR received: Dec.9/13
IELTS: Submitted with application
PCC: Submitted with application

So, now I'm just awaiting my MR. Quite honestly, before finding this forum, I was expecting MR sometime around the end of Summer. I never thought it was possible to get it as early as May, like many of you are predicting, so now I'm more anxious and impatient than ever!!

Hello Seniors,

One more suggestions required. I am a November Applicant and received my AOR on Jan 15th. As per the discussion in the thread I am expecting my medical request early June.

As we are expecting a new member to our family in the month of July. Please suggest, do I need to notify CIC earlier before getting the medical request? Or how the processing will be handled for my new born kid? Also can I go ahead do the upfront medical?

When you get baby get birth certificate and passport imidiatly and before you submit your passport for stamping notify cic. By submitting that document.
