Did you email CIC to ask the reason of the delay ?

Since two weeks I've emailed them 3 times and haven't got any response from them which pisses me off .

Hi,

I am a December applicant and have paid my RPRF.
I want to know if there are any applicants who may have received request for submitting Employment Reference Letter after paying the fee.
My Company had denied issuing me such letter over phone and they are also not ready to deny me in writing over email.
while filing for application, I submitted all the required supporting documents I had along with a cover letter.

I am wondering if CIC had ever asked anyone for such letter after requesting to pay for RPRF or can I assume that my documents were approved.

Hi All,

We landed on Monday through Rainbow Bridge. The process was very fast. It took less than 30 minutes, including the US side. So, I would suggest landing on weekdays to avoid traffic and long waiting lines.

My timeline is below (Ottawa office processing):

Application received: November 1, 2013
AOR: May 9, 2014
Medicals done: May 15, 2014 (uploaded by the doctor online within two weeks)
Medicals received: June 27, 2014 (so expect 35-40 days for an ECAS update - I know this step is very frustrating one for everyone)
Decision made: July 2, 2014 (visa exempt country no PPR)
Landed: July 14, 2014

PS: There was no doughnut looking ladies at the borders. Even if there were any, we would not notice them! Enjoy Canada!

Also I received my gcms yesterday , so as of 12th June all eligibility has been passed and the application has been approved .

Outgoing conversation still shows as AOR and nothing else . Not sure why are they delaying if everything is approved . Any suggestions??

When did you applied for GCMS? How long did you take to receive the same?

To be honest with you, I am not sure, since I don't have kids yet. If you go to their website you will find a phone number there, call them and ask.

Thanks will do, saw a post that someone got the passport withing 8 days. Thought it has been 8 days for me too, lets check. and boom it says it has been delivered. Ran to the apartment mailbox and not there. No one was at home during business hours.

Called Customer support, no info, they opened a case. Nearest post office is closed will go tomorrow morning to see if the post office at Shoppers drug mart has it. fingers crossed. :-X

Guy need some clearance on something.

I got a job offer in Halifax, too good to refuse. So considering to move to Halifax. Should i tell this to the officer at the border? Don't want to cause any problem at landing or being refused for some stupid reason at the end.

Should I tell them when they ask, yes I will be living Toronto? Also can we get the address changed for PR card delivery if need be?

passsport in 8 days, only the lucky ones get it, usualy it take 2 weeks ..

I filled the receipt using pen and scanned and share. Now,wondering if I did it in right way.

Yes. That is the right way..send it to the email specified in the RPRF request email.
