I am waiting for my PPR request since last 2 and half month. Did upfront medical and reports were uploaded by doctor's office on April 05, 2014.

GCMS notes below.is the status.. Eagrly waiting for PPR 8)

Can you tell from the GCMS notes if CIC started processing your application when the ECAS status was still "Application Received"?
I'm trying to figure out if "Application Received" means that they haven't started processing, or whether it means that they just haven't updated the ECAS.
I would appreciate any inputs on this question!

RPRF was requested and paid as well..
Doctor's office confirmed medical reports are normal and no additional tests requested for them nor it to me. Doesn't know what's happening with CIC :-[

As per GCMS, VO put the eligibility passed on April 15, 2014 .My ECAS shows application started processing on the same date, before that status was application received

It's "In Process" Solong. When you clicked it, another window will popped up and shows:
1. Application received....
2. We are processing your app....

Congrats to all of you whom received your PPR. I'm an October applicant and I think you guys (November applicants) should chill out. There are so many Ocotoberians that yet to receive PPRs including myself.

So just chill and keep your chin up, your time will come soon.

Is there any other way to do flagpoling with out going to US?

What address did u have to put in to do to Rainbow bridge for flagpolling?

I had got mixed response for landing at Peace Bridge stating in some cases they refused to do the landing there. So, i went ahead at Rainbow Bridge.

I've read in one thread that Peace Bridge is smaller and that theyre avoiding over crowding of people.
Rainbow bridge is better I supposed.

I wish CIC had a timeline of what applications are under process . Like for example online when we check processing times it should mentioned (Processing October Applications) or something like that . Atleast give us a better estimate for when to expect PPR

any of you in same status, is this anway related to PCC?

I have the same situation as yours.
MR on Jun 6 but still shows "Application received" and no RPRF.

Maybe they haven't start processing my file as they didnt ask for PCC.
They didn't send the letter to request for it yet
(I cannot apply for the PCC in my country without a formal request letter from CIC)

But how come I get MR? that's strange..

Plus they should make the system more automated. For example, if some checks completed, input it to the case in the VC's PC and that automatically updates ECAS. No more pain and worrying.

I reached US border through Rainbow bridge. US Immigration asked me the reason for crossing the border. I told him for flagpolling and he took our passports and asked me to wait in my car. Later he came up with admin refusal form and showed me the way to get back to Canada border. Once you enter the canada border, pay the border fees USD 3.5 (I paid CAD 3.75) and they would ask you to enter the adjacent building for landing formalities. Once you enter the building they would take your passport and CoPR document and ask you to have a seat. Once they enter your data in the system, they would call you stating now you are on PR..!!

Finally my ECAS changed to In Process today. Finally some progress.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on November 12, 2013.

2. We started processing your application on June 23, 2014.

As for as i enquired some of my friends...they all received MR first, pending PCC and RPRF (immediate or less than 2 weeks).
also we know the application status and requests are not consistent for some folks which could be due to system updates/VO.

one thing i noticed in our Nov spread is, most of our Nov folks received their RPRF on Jun 6/16 th...like a Batch job.
when is our batch-job going to be updated...?

is there anybody else on same sitution like us...and PCC (pending)
(Got MR reques but Appl received and no RPRF for long time)?

let us know if more guys, we will drill-down and work towards PCC...
