sorry to barge in on ur conversation. i would recommend for you to email cic manila. i mailed them 6 times i got 6 automated answers and 3 answers from the staff. 2 mnths since my first email got my visa. thats 3 days ago. my ppr was also july.hope this helps... good luck to all.

May we know your timeline? Also, how did you get your visa? Did CEM call you or they just shipped your passport back? Also, did your ECAS change to Decision Made? Thanks!

my husbands ecas changed to dm on oct 16 got his visa aftr 3 dys. im the sponsor. via courrier an affliate of dhl named wwwexpress. thanks...

Clarification please:

My current application is "in Process" and I understand that the average processing time is indicated in the website depending on the visa office. I know that the processing time is 14 months in our case. My question is the reckoning date for the 14 months. Is it from the time when the CIC says it received the application (which is Nov 2012), or the time the Manila visa office receives the application from CIC Mississauga (which is March 2013)?

Also, if the reckoning date is Nov. 2012, do we add the 28 days sponsorship approval for myself to the 14 months (i.e. 28 days + 14 months), or is this included in the 14 months?

start counting from app. received so that would be 14 mnths plus the time for sponsorship approval.
some cases receive visas very early some exceed the alloted time.
for example my case took 16 mnths if i have'nt inquired about it on the the 15th month maybe im still waitng.
