cecdec2012,

I am also planning to do upfront medical at NE calgary Sunridge DMP. Can you confirm whether they have forwarded your medical report through emedical or mail ? What documents we have to collect from DMP at the time of upfront medical and send to CPP ottawa? how much it total charge you to do upfront medical?

I paid 260 Cad excluding x ray & lab test fees. But they have same building so its convenient. I got my Medical request on my FSW application so I asked the clinic if its already sent to e medical. So I used my Upfront Medical Notification form instead of the IMM1017E that the VO sent to my email. The upfront medical notification has a UMI bar code no. whereas the IMM1017E has a IME bar code no. They are acknowledging upfront medical as far as I know. the result has been uploaded to e medical. But I sent a separate email on Sept 30 to VO if they recvd the medical with the scanned copy. They acknowledge it and it will be associated to my application. I probably wait two weeks to change status in ecas.

Make sure you get copy of your E-Up front Medical notification Form from the clinic. Once they uploaded the result you have to inform VO that you did upfront medical. Pls scan copy attach to your email ,.

This site shows you the emedicals locations - I'm not sure if it's missing any but it might help http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/overseas/c/canada/panel-doctors.htm

Thanks guys.. I tried calling 3 to 4 doctors but none of them have slots available in next 2 weeks also some doctors are charging way too much.. I think I will stick with Dr Dharmavathy, she is charging 190.. Dr at St claire is charging 250..

Odd...I went to Lyndon Mascarenhas on St. Clair just last Tuesday. When I called on Monday they said the whole week was open.

I'm in GTA too and I've been looking up doctors who upload results fast. It's actually not that important that you book appointment with the earliest available doctor because if he/she uploads your results late, you end up being worse off than booking a later appointment with a doctor who uploads fast. Read comments in this thread: "eMedical enabled CIC Panel physicians".

I called around and asked for doctors' timeline of uploading results. I was told (by the receptionist) it takes John C Kuhlmann (in Mississauga) 2 whole weeks to upload results (some ppl complain it being even longer), while it takes the Kitchener doctors 4 days to upload results. As far as I know the fast doctors in GTA are booked up way in advance, while the Kitchener doctors have empty slots open (they claim same day is even possible on their website). I was able to get an appointment 2 days in advance. I highly recommend you go to Kitchener if possible, I've only found positive reviews about Dr. Violet Shadd or Daniel Garrett so far. The receptionist was also extremely helpful on the phone.

Oh another thing to consider, for many doctors you need to go to multiple places to get xray and blood test, but for Kitchener you get everything done in the same building. The cost is only $188 which is one of the cheapest options out there.

On a side note, I can't post links in threads, anyone know how that can be changed? Thanks!

Any mr, rprf, ppr today?
