I got email stating, My RCMPcertificate has been received by Ott- pilot.. Hoping to get my medical soon..:)

I would say don't hope too much on it.. They confirmed receiving my RCMP on 15th Aug but am yet to hear anything after that..

A friend of mine whose appl was received on 4th Dec 2012 has got his MR yesterday. His Noc is 2174 and he is from India. Applied from Canada.

A bunch of us applied before him with same reference letter and noc code haven't got anything. It's strange in which order CIC picks up appln.

Just got GCMS notes today... Last time my files was opened on July 7, 2013 officer assessed my eligibility and put status Recommended Passed, but it is already Aug 26 and i've not gotten MR requests...
I don't understand why does it take soooo long for them to issue MR as notes state that they have on concerns on my application and they satisfied with all of the criteria (language test, temporary status, employment history and employer business)...

It drives me nuts

Can any one advise me how and where to send the RCMP certificate? Can i scan the certificate and email it to CIC? Or can i send it though canada post? If it is by Canada post to which address i should send it?

Pls help
Thanks

That is a good news man.

I applied for my notes in July 9th, and I haven't received anything yet. Did you receive them by email or mail?
Good luck.

I've applied on July 25 and got email with notes on August 26

In your case it takes too long! I've applied three times and always got notes within 30 days.

Do you thing of reapplying?

Hi CECNOV2012,

My NOC is also 2174. Can you please let me know the format of your reference letter? Does it also include hours worked and roles and responsibilities? The one I sent in with my application does not contain that. I am planning to send a new one which includes that. Will it help ? Appreciate your response.

My NOC code is also 2174 , I have mentioned hours of work per week and roles and responsibilities. I think CIC is now checking these as mandatory in the letter...others in the group can suggest better options...
im also still waiting for my MR...

CIC does not accept the updated reference letter.
Decision will be based on the one which you sent it to them with application.

If at all you are lucky they may ask for additional documents instead of rejecting it right away.

CIC may accept the new ref. letter as long as it doesn't state something totally contrary to the first one.

If you haven't provided a ref. letter initially or have provided one without the required information and later provide one with the requested info, their is a good chance they will review it.
