Well, I am sure Indian office gets lot of request . My home country is INDIA. If I am expecting this whole process to be over by 15 nov. Am I expecting too much ? My offer expires on 15passingby said:What is your home country? CIC does background check and after it is completed they issue medicals. If your country's visa office delays background check it will delay processing of your app as well. I think your eligibility is already passed but it's still not enough

There's a 20% chance that it could be more than 13 months. Here is a breakdown of current CEC processing numbers....updated last quarter by CIC:gladaki said:How much is probability that processing time exceeds
13 month time ?

20% of all cases are processed within 7 months
30% of all cases are processed within 8 months
50% of all cases are processed within 9 months
70% of all cases are processed within 11 months
80% of all cases are processed within 13 months
That leaves about 20% that are more than 13 months. The probability of you being in this set....no one can answer that.

Perhaps so! But, we cant see the full picture....the fact remains that this forum is merely a snapshot of applications. The volume far exceeds what we see here and it could be dispersed across the months any which way. I am also mindful of the fact that other offices closed and transferred cases over to CPP-O, which is in addition to constantly incoming applications from CIO.gladaki said:Thanks. On the other hand, these numbers are mostly representative of past eligibility requirements and we are yet to see what the process will look like as of this year. But, all that aside, just stay optimistic and dont worry so much. I know you have a deadline for that job....but mate, there is nothing you can do. There's nothing any one of us can do. We all have a lot riding on this.
